Supercenter and The Street Vendors

We are very fortunate to live close to a WM... We find ourselves walking there daily for a few local goodies and honestly, the exercise is a welcomed release from apartment living. Many of you may remember the days of the Mid-South Fair and the outdoor grilling (sausages, onions, and bell peppers)? Well, that is exactly what it smells like around 6pm everyday.

The sight of people relaxing and talking with neighbors in the cool of the evening, after a sweltering day, marries well with the smells of the street vendors cooking fresh grilled veggies and sausages... It is almost like a nightly festival celebrating community and common sense...

Children roller blade, while parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, and friends share in experience of a nightly carnival.

  2. Hey... thanks for following along... as much as it is different here, it is oddly the same.

Kids cry for toys and candy in Wal-Mart (while frustrated parents give them the "wait until I get you home look")...

    Stay oun touch...
